This was our first run with the
Buckeye Miata Club. They were very welcoming to new members. We were all through some beautiful countryside and even had trivia along the way! The picture of the chicken is from a
farm we stopped at that had the best apple donuts. We also stopped by the
Ohio Bird Sanctuary, which was really interesting for a birder like myself. Its worth a visit if birds are in your playlist.
There were a lot of nice people in the groups and we ended up stopping at the
Brown Derby Roadhouse for lunch in Ontario, Ohio. It is a typical midwest steakhouse, although I will have to say that the mushroom burger was good, once the staff understood that we weren't actually ordering meat.
